The first INTERNATIONAL SCUBA DIVING SUSTAINABILITY WORKSHOP, hosted by REEF CHECK ITALIA onlus in the beautiful setting of Genoa, will present the final RESULTS of the European project GREEN BUBBLES, together with lectures by KEY INTERNATIONAL SPEAKERS from the different segments of the diving system.

Participants to the workshop will be entitled to buy an entry ticket to the Maritime Museum for 8,00 Euro instead of 13,00 Euro (ask for a voucher at the conference reception).

Seminar - Divers as stewards of the marine environment - which one are you and what are the benefits?
This workshop will include a lecture describing the main typologies of scuba divers as stewards of the marine environment and the positive effect of each typology
in and outside Marine Protected Areas. The lecture will be followed by a practical group exercise in which divers will be asked to identify the typology they relate to and come up with ways to
meet the goals set for that particular typology. The workshop is intended also as an exercise to understand the benefits (for divers and the environment) which each typology holds.
